The past year has been a tough one for ASASS. We’ve been working around the clock to help make this website a reality. Our international team of volunteers and experts have dedicated time and energy to making sure that the people we support can receive the help they need and they deserve.
We’re also currently in the process of organizing a way for you, our supporters, to be able to donate in a much more convenient way. Our online payment system should be coming online in the coming weeks, so keep an eye and know that we are doing our best to make sure that it becomes a reality.
Currently, our most important project is that of the Kanyosha Community Health Center (KCHC). We’re looking to raise $175,000 dollars to create a purpose-built facility and equip it with what it needs to be able to help the deprivileged in Burundi.
Of course, we also have many other projects which we have been working on. Check out our projects page to see what is happening and what areas you can provide support for. We’re currently focusing on the areas of Health and well-being, Hunger and Thirst Alleviation and Education and Growth.
A 2017 comes to the fore, you can expect to see even more commitment when it comes to confronting economic inequality and building connections across borders. 2016 was only the start, ASASS now has an unprecedented opportunity to be a lifeline for the vulnerable. We have an opportunity to show that they have not been forgotten and that there is a productive path which they can take so that their future will be brighter.
Just remember, anything you can spare to help make the lives of those less fortunate better, will go a long way to making the world a better place. The people of Burundi, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda thank you for your support.
